looks very good in the product description. 'got a few questions though:

- 8-lobes on the bevel gear; so this will that be even better than the 4-lobe ones?
- what piston shall this require (half or full)?
- they're offering STANDARD, HIGH, and SUPER powered sets for different spring set-ups. will it be logical to say that getting the SUPER powered set compensate all spring set-ups?

More catches on the bevel gear won't affect too much, but it means that there will be less backwards movement if you take your finger off the trigger in the middle of a cycle. It'll need a regular piston, from the looks of the sector gear.

The different "powered" sets are probably just different ratios. It's like the Systema regular, torque up and super torque up sets.

Arnie's has a good writeup on this set, it's pretty recent, just go back in the news archive.

for 108US, when that gear set busts, you're a third of the way to an entire new AEG. I have a hard time imagining they're a good investment.

but when proxy lives are on the line, you're irresponsible for not paying the high cost for reliability.

It'll make use of rotational momentum from the tendancy for gears to over-rotate on semi-auto shots. That will help reduce semi-auto trigger lag for follow-up shots. I've noticed the Prometheus 5-lobe bevel gear helps reduce this moreso than Marui or SystemA's 2 lobe versions. I haven't had enough experience with Marui's 4-lobe to really compare with that.
The downside is that the more the piston is already cranked, the more startup current will be required from your battery to crank the spring.

It can use either half or full.
In other words, use full with it.

Yes, at the loss of ROF.
