Yeah I'm holding off on purchasing an MP5 part-by-part so I can fit one of these suckers in. Maybe with Lipo if I'm feeling hardcore.

Just an FYI for anyone interested.

I've been trying to get in contact with Systema's North American distributor, and their official stance is not to respond to inquiries to media.

So I decided to be sneaky and emailed via a generic web email account, and I was politely told that the release date is expected around the end of Summer, but they do not know this is 100%.

Oh, and they don't have an estimated price at this point either.

EDIT:: Although my friends at Airsoftnews.eu are not able to get info either, people from Red Wolf have, and other airsoft outlets. So, yeah. Looks like retailers will likely get the first word on this.

actually, one of my friends works for systema's R&D Department and gave me a heads up on this a while back. The reason redwolf has info, etc on the revolution gearbox was because they won the contract with systema, while WGC and other retailers did not. When systema decides to release it to redwolf, ill know a week in advance, and will have already preordered one :P

Ditto that! I'd like to order one too, I don't want to find out they're all gone by the time I'm actually able to get one.

I'm also keeping a close eye on these things. If they turn out to be as good as the marketing hype makes them out to be, I'll definitely consider eventually making one of these the heart of my C8A2 project. I won't be an early adopter though. I want to see how these things hold up to real AEGs in the field and prove their durability and reliability before I sink cash into one. Considering how expensive Systema complete mechboxes are, you can bet these things are gonna cost an arm and a leg.
