Between 300 and 350, use 0.25's. I was using 0.25's in my stock classic army (315 fps on .20s) and noticed an accuracy and effective range increase, though not by much.

Over 350, use 0.28's. They'll move a little slower, but you'll get nice results.

As for BB's, I used to use the KSC Perfect ones and was really happy with them. Can't find them anymore. Now I use exclusively BB bastards.

Arin't Franks Velocityarms BB's rebrands of KSC Perfect or something?

No idea. I'm happy with bastards though. Just annoyed almost noone makes BB's on 5,000 round bags anymore.

Really now? Who made you the be all end all, ultimate supreme know it all when it comes to BB's?

Have you done this testing in all types of AEG's and GBB's? Have you done it in these different guns wit different levels of upgrade?

Sheesh! Give me a break! The difference between Bastards and MT's are nominal. Yes, I use both and both feed exceptionally well and show no issues whatsoever. There will be a select few who will show signs of problem with either or or both types.

I do believe he ment "I don't need anybody telling me i'm wrong and that i should use x bbs instead. I haved decided on these"

Also, Velocity Arms bbs ARE KSC perfects.

Ya I know. But he goes and tells everyone they are wrong for choosing Bastards.

I just bought couple of bags of the VA's from Frank and will be trying them out this month.

I almost gave up but after switching to BBs Bastard .30 g that I save for my GBB then the feeding issue on my PTW has been solved. So BBs Bastard is all the way.

KND
I'll second this...
My PTW's were way too picky once I switched them over to PDI inner barrels. BB Bastards (.28 & .30) are A++ for accuracy and proper feeding.

did I not say a bunch of things about how bastards are better than MT as well?

go MT if you want accuracy, go BBB if you want overall reliability.

Hindsight much?

I use madbull .28 and .30 precision grade in my PTW's and i swear by them, Best BB ive used by far in my PTW's.

I'm running a modified cylinder that shoots a modest 350 fps on .2 But i choose the heavy weight because of the great consistency i achieve.

Only mags I can get to run madbulls without jaming are hicaps. EVERY other mag i've tried em in has jammed up. I'm very surprised your able to run em in a ptw.

i meant to say precision grade my bad.

Really, they don't work in your mags? I measured these madbulls and there tolerance is bang on, 5.95 consistently. Very high polished and seamless.

Maybe a bad batch? If you can measure them and show that they are too big you can get a refund as they are 100% guarantee for +/- 0.01mm
