Advice - Bulk Purchase C7/C8 w/accessories

Hi All,

I have been asked to put together a purchase proposal, which could include up to 10 full rifles with accessories, and am looking for suggestions from you guys, as you are the experts here and not I.

1. Looking for up to 8 C7 (with collapseable stocks) or C8 (M4) style rifles.
-Must be durable. This is key, being used for training purposes, with
people used to handling more rugged equipment.
-Should be able to accept optics on the top (picatinny rail), though a flat top variant may be acceptable if this is difficult.
-What is the best brand here?

2. Looking for 2 AK-style variants, durability would be the key here.

3. A good domestic supplier that may have this stuff in, and in quantity (pick-up is ideal).

If you were in my shoes, what kind of set-up would you put together?

Thoughts/input is welcome and appreciated!

Is this for military/law enforcement training purposes?

You should get age verified with an ASC rep so you can see what is available in the classifieds and from the dealers, otherwise, generally nobody will be very willing to offer you sales information in forum areas that are visible to minors.

The simplest route for you since you seem to be going after training purposes would be go with the legal to import into Canada variants with clear plastic receivers as they are readily available at large quantities at many dealers. If you desire realistic weight, action, and working functions (like bolt release, etc.), I would recommend the KJW gas blow-back M4 such as this:

However, the current generation of GBBRs are still a nascent development and an electric airsoft rifle might be more your avenue, of which there are many available. If you have a large budget, you could look into System PTWs (Personal Training Weapons) which will be as close as you can get to the real thing in an electric system but be warned that the will be difficult to find in such quantities and they will cost over $2000 CAD each from a Canadian source.

***If you have genuine military/law enforcement credentials or access to a BFL, you may be able to import these weapons from overseas or the U.S. at their real cost instead of the 2-3x inflated Canadian prices and the real lack of availability and choice that is here. If that is an option for you, then you have rather limitless possibilities far beyond what is available strictly in this country.

Durability is a big can of worms and it depends on your own individual needs. If speaking of durability of construction and body, full metal guns are more difficult to come by into Canada due to CBSA prevention of their importation. The readily available models from Canadian wholesalers (well, just one really) all have clear plastic or polycarbonate receivers to abide by these rules. Durability in terms of mechanical reliability and maintenance is also a mixed bag of so many possibilities depending on kind of airsoft technology you are interested in, either AEG (basic electric, mechanical), PTW (advanced design, electronics, mechanical), or GBBR (gas operated system, performance affected by cold temperatures) and the different brands and versions available.
