Well my son has hunted and has no problem shooting ,he shoots better that me (my eyes age Thing), he owned a Ovendoffer Mauser 270 win mag for about a 1yr and I owned a Wincher P14 303. but I have sold all our rifles and guns due to the new laws, not worth the cost and rules etc........
Airsoft is better. No more crap , when we (my son) play Paintball ,I play with him at all times so I can keep a eye on him. This would go for Airsoft until he is 18 then he can do what he likes. Gavin PS anybody would like to hire a AK47 very cheaply |

I just got my Kraken yesterday, it rocks! A great buy for only $200. Only problem I've had with it is the mag is wierd to put in.

All AK47s are like that. You have to fit the lip into the groove and rotate it in.

Care to elaborate? Whats so weird about putting the mag in? Is it not the way it should be (where you have to rock the magazine in, front first).

I think he is alluding to the fact that AK mags don't go straight in like, say, an Armalite.

Yeah sorry I didn't really say much, I had to go so I quiclky put that up.
About the mag, its what ~Bodkin~ said, I didn't even know all AK mags went in like that. I was playing last night and I'm starting to get used to it now. BTW: Does anyone know how long the battery is supposed to charge? |

Hey guys this is a emergencey. I'm going to a game tomarrow and my Kraken AK is making a wierd sound whenever I shoot after shooting my gun on automatic for about 50 rounds. When I took out the screws by the trigger guard and I pulled the front grip foreward and shot it sounded fine and when the grip is where it is suppoused to be, it sounds really bad.
I would really appreciate any help, thanks. |

Yes, describe the sound please.
Also, what does removing the trigger guard screws have to do with moving around the front grip? And what do you mean by pulled it forward?

It sounded a little strange for the first couple shots, after that it doesn't seem too bad... sounds like its dryfiring... (which wears your gun down much faster, don't do it)
I still don't get why you messed with the trigger guard screws and front grip?

Well heres a crappy edit job.
When I move the red highlighted part foreward, it sounds better, when its back it sounds all messed up I think something is jammed in it. |

Alright, I understand that, but why did you? What made you come to the conclusion that its the problem? Did you just randomly start moving parts around until it worked better?
Have you checked the barrel to see if its empty? Does it still fire fine while making that noise? Have you considered just returning it and getting a replacement?
