It looks like the hk416 with that stock. I probably would have bought the we hk416 if I didn't have a boot fetish. Lul. So any word on a price estimate for this part? Like a ball park range?

i Know right!? i love that rail charging handle and grip i may have to get them well at least charging handle and grip i might just make my own rail because i want to make a foregrip extension about another 4-6" longer, and extend my barrel out even farther

In great detail. He does actually talk about the one time he actually hit you in airsoft. He said he was so proud. LMAO. Anyway. Sure. If you can powdercoat it, that would be great. I'll give you a couple bucks for it.

ah you powder of the coating to huh thunder? i love powder coating but only so much, all the parts i used to make used to be all powder coated, thousands a day. SUCKED! but once every once in awhile i love it. i also have a company that can anodize for me too.

Anodizing would be far more preferable, MUCH thinner and much tougher finish!

I wish we had the equipment to do anodizing at work

I've got a hefty skill palette, but powdercoating is incredibly easy. I'm AMAZED some people are incapable of doing it properly, like just amazed. I learned how to powdercoat better than our career painters on dayshift in 2 hours of instruction by our veteran painter on nightshift lol
Most recently I'm trying to get us into liquid nitriding or at the very least, pack carburizing. It would REALLY help with all the dies and custom tooling we make...
And our "engineers" have a retarded affinity for making bending tools out of 1018 carbon steel, pack carburizing is the only way we could get any kind of wear resistance out of them

oh the stories I could tell you about our poorly designed home made dies....

honestly if these parts go to production like i want then i will anodize the black. but as for powder coating we have this little setup, a home setup deal, but the most expensive version we could find and we have powders ranging from wrinkle black to pink :-)

black anodize for that part would be ideal. the cost is the same for one as it is for 20 if im not mistaken.

I have received the 2 replacement part 27s in the mail from WE through amos. I have epoxied small metal plates to the areas that break. It feels really strong. I have lost the quick field strip feature though. I have a replacement part 66 standing by too. I am going to fire a half a dozen mags through it tomorrow when the epoxy has fully dried and see how much abuse it will take.

I really don't think epoxy is going to do it, it's too hard of a glue. You would need an adhesive that atleast seeps into the surface texture of the part (IE brazing)
You'd have better luck with the silver soldering I think

Some old man at home depot said in order to solder pot metal you have to heat it up and make it red hot with a torch. He said this will likely make make pot metal explode. He also said the fumes from aluminum can kill someone without a proper respirator.
