A guy who boarded in our house had a lot of interest in anything to do with guns so he had real steel pellet guns bbs guns and a few airsoft guns, he gave me a large amount of his pellet/bb guns and also bought me a airsoft gun from CT, my friend a few years later got a pistol for a b day present from his mom and she got it from CT so from there we started having 1v1s and it grew on us + friends.

I found ASC using google, i was searching for Canadian Airsoft Forums Xd

been a while

A friend of mine named colin got me into airsoft, course all we had for the past few years is springers and anything you could buy at walmart lol, we created a team, and even advertised in the local papers for players, we had like 33 members in our little cub and played on a farm, my team (U.B.C.S) actually just disbanded from lack of interest (got me a new one), I found the ASC on my own while looking for a forum for gamers.

Played airsoft a couple of times when I was younger grade 9-10ish had no interest

Until....

Was surfing the net on how to calculate how long to charge my RC Car Battery and found ASC... and long behold I have ASC to blame for making me like airsoft...

Started paintballing back in '02 with the original Windsor Airsoft Club guys. Mostly woodsball and milsim. About 03-04 we heard about airsoft and slowly players started transitioning over.

It was about this time I made my brilliant first post asking about getting paintball goo out of my MP5's barrel. Was flamed to hell as per ASC's policy on noobs. Been playing ever since.

For me it was a user named cranberry. He got me into it, just as he got out of it. Kind of ironic. He used to be a retailer on this site. Too bad everything got all mucked up for him.

I actually don't know where it started. My friends and I found a clearsoft Uzi on the street and he goggled fake guns, which led him to airsoft. He buys a TM G36C on impulse loves it. So do I, so I do more research found out about airsoft and started going to games in my neighborhood and when I moved to Canada i wanted to keep playing, googled Canadian airsoft, and found ASC

*edit* It was a JG not a TM

I hope to never have to use those words ever again.

I'm good at video games guy: I'm so awesome at modding and hacking on halo and CoD, I'll go try airsoft.

(Five seconds into a game) I'm good at video games guy: holy crap I just got owned by people that have lives and don't spend hundreds of dollars on video game equipment.

CDN_Stalker: Prepare to die mortal! (eats video game guy)

I was working at Defcon Paintball in '07, met $Merc$, who handed me a airsoft pistol and some mags, had a blast, and sold all my paintball stuff the next day. I was blown away how friendly the airsoft community was, people let me shoot their guns, use their bb's, and help me fix my own gear! Also, a background in the military put the skills into action in airsoft!
AIRSOFT FTW!
