Had no idea there was another version of the vest with a removeable neck piece. Any info on it?

I'd be more inclined if one that would fit a size Small would be available... M/L would be way too big for me...

Looks like I have one of the older ones with the non-removable collar as well. I don't mind it though, when I wore it it was great for preventing rifle slings or bag straps from rubbing against bare skin. I'll take a bit more heat and sweat over raw skin.

Never saw one with the removable collar. We called the 'throat protector' the neck protector because thats what it did lol.
I just came back in December and I never saw any of the snap on collars. Could be a Mat Tech mod though. I was hearing rumours that the new vest was going to have groin and ass protectors as well. Well thats what a guy who saw it at the show in Ottawa said. Are you looking for pics of the Usless shoulder pads or the newer larger brassards? ~Infidel

I got some pictures of my brassards. I'll post some pictures from the internet for right now cause I have to find mine.
They arn't high res but these are currently what is being issued in Theater. It is designed to protect the side of the wearer as it was just a giant hole for shrapnal. Unfortinatly no one will be able to get their hands on this unless they are currently over seas. But You can get some fairly accurat messurements once I find my pictures. ~Infidel
