Yeah the 2nd one is basically what I am trying to say in my broken english...
This is the stock TM frame on my Glock. If you take a look at a Guarder one if you get a chance you'll see the gap at the front of the metal inner frame is a lot bigger. And also the screw post on the frame is not as well supported. So all the cycling load on the returning stroke is taken up only by that screw post, and thats where mine snapped. Edit, I noticed that the metal frame also sites against a feature on the plastic frame just in front of the "frame rail" portion of the metal frame. I need to look at the Guarder one when I get back to US but that gap might also be different from the TM frame... In general I think its more of a reverse engineering tolerance issue, and perhaps not fully understand what some of the fit are for on Guarder's side in re-doing TM's frame... I think its possible that again, the steel slide+strong spring accelerated the demise and that perhaps with lighter slide it might be ok, but at least from the look of things that if I were to design the guarder frame I'd have done it differently...
If you have a FDE/Tan TM original frame and want to switch to the Guarder, I'll buy it off ya.... |

Looks good, comes with the ported metal slide AND a threaded barrel?
I've been looking for a beater glock19 for a while, this may be what I was looking for! |

It had ported outer barrel too, and the threaded one is extra...the gift package was the pistol, threaded outer, suppressor, and extra mag....by far the best thing I've won in the last 5 years...lol
Its actually as far as I can tell, TM based.... |

Hate turning this into a discussion thread, but how can that be? TM has never made a glock 19 or i'd be all over that like white on rice....or me on a new highend GBB......

The system seems identical to the G26 and G17 TM that I have, just sized differently...the magazing is shorter and the barrel is shorter. The Hop-up is the same as TM as well as the blow back system. Just sized for the compact size...
The longer G17 mag does not fit though, the mag catch size is slightly off from the TM one and is too big for the TM mag. |

did you get a 14mm+ or 14mm- barrel? i'm wondering if my 14mm- threaded was a fluke. it can also take tm base plates for the mags. |

Well, after checking out some RS Glock grip stippling work, I decided to go further with mine, now there is a real bite to the grip....

Soldering iron. lol
For small details, its solder iron, for hot glue gun, it would be just big lines or circles. the4thpower3 on here has made some awesome stippling with the circles. You can check it out in his gallery. Not sure how he does it. |
