Short Video (1 minute of your life :P ) of the baby hi-capa.

Uhm, I said its -4 out coz it really is, I was in the coat room of my house.. before you say.. why is there a tree indoors at -4.. well.. most its a rare breed of plastic tree that never needs water or sun light. I love it! hahah.

To download it:

This is a result of my boredom I think, and the inability to go shoot people with it.

*edit, I forgot to mention, not once did the gun fire a blank. You cant see it, but every single shot fired out past the tree line, unless i hit something first! haha

Only two mags were fired for the entire video, the first mag was shown from the side, no cool down at all, well, a little but hardly enough to notice (I didn't refill when I pulled the magout, I was just checking the temp and then threw it back in the gun to keep firing). The 2nd mag had a little cool down right at the end, after 20 something shots, but it was still kicking enough to lock back the slide after the very last shot was fired, and it made it through a whole mag. The room temperature in the coat room was getting damn cold after having the door hanging open for that long, and I can guarentee you that my old KJW elite 1a, under the same circumstances would have blown out all of its gas, or just run out.

i seem to be experiencing some major cool down effects, and gas efficiencies.

I won't be able to shoot a whole mag before it runs out of gas.
Anyone else have this issue?
Sometimes, when dry firing, i'll fill the mag and only get 10 shots from it before it's done... peculiar. And it's happening to both my mags.

How long are you filling the mag for and what gas are you using?

Dry firing will give you worse gas performance than with BBs; without a BB in the barrel there's no resistance and more gas is released per shot.

Same idea as the KWC Mini Uzi having lousy gas consumption, until you replace the piston head (the HiCapa Piston Head hack), except in that case gas is escaping out the back.

The higher the gas pressure, the worse it'll perform.

Do you have gas residue on you hand behind your thumb after firing? If so it's due to another issue. PM me if this is the case and I'l go over it with you.

I'm using propane, i've been filling the mags as full as possible. I've owned KJ M9s in the past, and i know what to listen for when filling the mags, so i'm pretty sure i'm getting full mags.

As well, the problem occurs both while dry firing and firing BBs.

Not sure 100%, but I would assume that the plastic loading nozzle would slam pretty hard into the metal loading ramp then and it can't be GREAT for it.

I dry-fired at PB Nation about ten times fast and hard... Someone told me to cut it out. Reloaded BBs, got in the next game (which was pistols only FYI), ran fine.

Although I'm thinking my GBB is a bit hot...
