The smaller "nut sack" box mags will work. They're easier on the support arm too since you don't have to hook your arm out and around the box mag (at least I found it so).

They're kind of tough to fill through their little port...but you can actually take the whole bottom box off the mag to fill it and then put it back in the case and zip it up. I found that they feed a bit better too. Pressure switch vs. sound activated...so the downside is that you need to put the pressure button somewhere (I put it under my stong hand thumb).

Re. the green box...the wiring is pretty lousy in the A&K box mags. There's not much that can be done re. how the side cover snaps on/off. I had the same issue of BBs getting down into the feeding mech....but I switched over to a nut-sack box mag.

My A&K M249 MK1, shortened the barrel an added a Tromex Shark flashhider. Also customized the box.

Is there a 'duck bill' flash hider make for airsoft, or do people use the Rebar cutter in it's place?

here's some examples of the the 'duck bill':

If you buy an MK43 you'll have one. M60E4 usually have a bird cage one.

depends on the stock. some minor modification may be necessary, though i have seen the collapsible G&P stock put onto a A&K para no problem

Can the Daytona gun kit use high pressure air/nitrogen instead of CO2?

Yes you can use HPA, I'm running HPA on my AK and my 249 it's definitely a bit louder and snappier compared to CO2
