It goes against the intent of the thread since it's not really a "loadout"; just a picture of some dude in combats and non-issued CADPAT ball cap.

Holy cow, 87 pages.....just a question from a noob here (that may or may not have been answered before in these 87 pages) - for the guys in the CF, you're not supposed to wear the real deal outside of work, so do you wear replica stuff, or just jeans and t-shirts or whatever?

Whatever we feel like; depends on the scenario; sometimes we're dressed as "rebels" sometimes as Americans, sometimes as SF... but we wear replica CADPAT, mostly because the issued combats are stupidly designed.

I wore my real stuff for the last 2 years, I picked up A-TACS with the rest of my team for this year.

Why buy BDUs when I have 3 sets sitting there.... Now I like A-TACS :P

Sorry for all the bone questions - I'm new to airsoft as well as the CF. My I/C told us we can't wear any of our issue stuff for paintball, so I assumed it was a no-no for airsoft as well. Basically, he said if we're not working, we shouldn't be wearing our kit, which to me means don't go prancing around downtown on a Friday night in your kit when you're not working. I never thought to ask for airsoft.

What you said makes sense though, and besides, not like 6mm plastic bbs are going to do much damage to the BDUs....paintballs on the otherhand probably won't be so good in the long run.

Thanks for the info fellas.

Also, I don't see paintballs doing any damage to clothing as the paint is water soluable, same as the simmunition ammo used in the Military.

FYI, our uniforms are not called BDUs.. they are Combats.
Combats, that's right. Sorry for that....still new and stupid. So many new terms to learn. 8 months in PAT and counting, still waiting to get on course......

I mind as well contribute
All clothing/PP&E as issued
TT MAV with TT pouches, mostly triple mag pouches and varying utility pouches. 12 40mm on a bandolier as well as another 8 in a utility pouch.
The weird shoulder stance is because I'm carrying a really heavy pack full of ammo and such.

i've know some guys from the Philippine Scout Ranger, they look less than intimidating than that dude. but their kill ratio is way more than an average soldier there in Iraq or A'stan. just curious, can you show me some of your pics on how to look intimidating?

No doubt, those phillipino guys are crazy as shit, or at least the marines are. We actually have a guy in my unit who's beaten almost all of us in "fighting" and he's a 4 foot something vietnamese guy who probably weighs in under 115 :P

As for pictures of me, I'm one of those guys who avoids cameras at all costs, I CANNOT stand seeing myself in pictures, dunno why, it just pisses me off.
