Battle.
My revisions just arrived lol. Did you have to modify the battery or anything.... or basically plug and play? I looked at the strap and was trying to figure out how to connect the battery? Can you explain that please Last edited by gogojuice; April 2nd, 2015 at 17:09.. |

Nope - just a standard C123A off memory. Plug that little fella in, twist the battery cap on the compartment to the 'ON' position and Bob's ya uncle!

Oh, by the way that cover is for sale. Maybe the entire helmet while I'm at it.

The Here's my DIY lid made from a MILsurp MSA TC2000;
(Still waiting for a good deal on a PVS6 to come up) Does anyone know of any tests done on these modded lids and whether or not cutting the Kevlar has any effect on the ballistic properties?

Used same airbrush technique with Duracoat used on my weapons on my modified Protec which was the only non real steel helmet I could find to fit my 7 3/4 sized noggin.

That looks good. I always found those helmets kind of look like the prototype helmets the boys in GRAW wore, at first glance.

This was ordered direct from Protec and I had to wait 2 months because I was behind a US military order.

Build List: Issue ACH helmet cover(multicam) Issue ACH NVG mount(Tan) Norotos USGI NVG rhino mount Emdom helmet retention strap(Multicam) Revision desert locust goggles with thermal lense tinted(Multicam) Surefire helmet light (HL1_C_TN) Ops Core ACH helmet straps Oregon Aero helmet pads(to fit MSA Sordin avenger hearing protection) Last edited by Treelinesniper; September 4th, 2015 at 19:45.. |

I've been doing with with my Mich 2000, also found in the classifieds. Haven't even worn it in a game but it's still neat to have a real one.
I'm going with more of a SOF setup without the cover. Tossed on an opscore Dial Kit, and I have a VAS shroud and Arc rails on the way |

my recent purchase was a pasgt helmet and the goggles I have kept slipping off so I have decided on getting a norotos pasgt nvg assembly but I am on budget (saving money for a Jericho 941), what is the law on importing one?

I am not sure about the exact wording of the law, but i got my rhino mount from the states, ordered from fortbragg surplus. great site. Was looking on ebay for around $100 to $200 and got for $40 american from fortbragg. Used the site to get a lot of the stuff for mine and yellowman's multicam kit cheap, some of it is lightly used or brand new. just stay away from the ucp camo stuff, its usually in less then great condition but its always been cheap for that stuff from the site. highly recommended site.
