Hi everybody, I've recently discovered Flashpoint. It's really great show. Now I'm in the middle of the second season and I was wondering maybe someone recognize what gloves the SRU team using in action. I was trying to google it but obviously it's not a common topic. I would appreciate any help.

Pretty sure it's a basic duty glove from Hatch. I used to own a pair

The exact model Greg is wearing is not the Hatch NS430. I have the NS430 right in front of me now. The hook and loop closure is different.

I found this a month or two back, still looking to track down the "Metropolitan Police" though....it seems like no one has them. I know there was mention earlier in this thread about a member making a vector image (if I recall correctly) that could be taken to a cresting company, but I don't think there has been any significant movement on that yet.

The other two crests I wouldn't mind seeing someone make are the patch for Rookie Blue and GTA's Liberty City Police. Perhaps one day.....

yeah a GTA LCPD would be awesome, the vector art work for the Metro Police is a few pages back, the main reason to make this kit is for Halloween, for the sake of the costume i may just have Lids make the patches or print them on thin cloth and fabric glue them on the shirt.

all and all due to time constraints and money (fresh from collage) i have a half ass'd SRU kit.

-Black work boots and gloves
-Black long sleeve w/ half turtle neck and SRU patches
-Swiss Arms tacvest
(http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-me...x=0&isremote=0)
-Still looking for pants
-Black hawk! BDU belt
(http://www.ebay.ca/itm/NEW-Adjustabl...item1e6ff71e6a)
-Crossman p9 holster converted to drop leg with added 1.5" straps and buckles
(http://images.doba.com/products/2330..._CRSASP9BH.jpg)
-Black kneepads

*this will work for the night and a few party's, if you have seen the show you will understand. if i had the money i would full out and make it as close as possible...

Been in to air soft lightly for a year or so now, i dont have much gear, mostly Canadian tire and walmart crap. looking to become more involved and educated, so yeah i will have more questions

i was looking around for a better match to the show vest, found this down at AA Army surplus in Kensington Market, not perfect but close. the issue im seeing is the show vest has 4 mag pouches on the bottom and all the ones i have found have a holster on one side (http://www.torontoairsoft.com/ACM-Me...ack_p_910.html).

Elite Tac vest (4 mag pouchs):

Remember that wearing any sort of patch that says police is a big no no.

That being said, I have an SRU setup pretty much ready to go, just need to drop by MD Charlton for the pants and change the barrel on my C8 to a 14 inch heavy from the 16 inch Simon Sleeve.

While searching the internet for Toronto Police shoulder patches, I came across this thread, so I thought I'd share. Crown Surplus has both the greyscale Toronto Police Service and the ETF patches:

http://store.armysurplus.com/patch-t...police/dp/4215
http://store.armysurplus.com/patch-t...-force/dp/4216

At $8 each, safe to assume they're reproductions.
