Frozen Tex; this is odd, my Classic Army markings are on the opposite of the gun. For example; the picture that you took with your SCAR, my markings are on that side.

Mine are on the same side of his. Different Generations?

What side are the RS markings on? Classic Army often muffs up the markings; wrong side, bad spelling, mixing RS marks with 6mm and their own brand name...

Mine are on the left side - upper receiver.
But, the "Classic Army" is on the right. |

It gets a little closer to done, with a PEQ, "ACOG", and some proper Pmags (not the Green Label crap!)... Just waiting for a Madbull Surefire muzzle brake and suppressor...

Did you cut your outer barrel?
|
September 19th, 2011, 12:57 | #98 |
It's the CQB version. SCARs come in three lengths - CQB, Standard & Sniper (SSR; Heavy only).

And in this case, the longer outer barrel is just an extension that screws on in front of the gas block/front sight assembly.

Do my eyes deceive me or is that an FN2000 flash hider ?

It may very well be; the thing is kind of a "Frankengun"... It has guts from a SCAR-L, and I know the builder has a couple G&G FN2000s... But the Madbull stuff should arrive this week, so whatever kind of flash-hider that is, it'll be gone soon.

If you can locate a source for a SCAR flashhider w/ QD suppressor, go for it - I didn't and now regret it. I'm currently debating whether to leave my SSR alone, or mount a suppressor and extend the inner barrel another 15-20 cm.

Okay, finally I managed to add mine here. Pictures are not so great. Below is a CA SCAR-LIGHT with a RS (polymer version) Grip Pod, Surefire 6v system with infared cover, GG&G Scout Rail, and a Vortex Arbiter 1-4 by 24 CQB Optic. I've also included a picture of the reticle of this optic, in case anyone is curious.
