Hey BR, is the shell loading smooth on the 14" barrel? Any wobble between barrel and receiver?

Comparison images.

SF vs Magnum,

Trades are different on the SF + Magnum, the SF has the Generation 2 bolt, where the Magnum has the generation 1 bolt.

Not a fan of the SF grip, doesn't feel all that nice, definitely needs a RS one on there. The fore-grip needs a changing out too!

SF Police with 16" outer-barrel.

Notice bolts are different.

Holy piece of crap. The replacement reinforce pushing pin is way off spec. Lots of mod and hard to align for Gen one bolt. Not even sure if that works tho? But for sure if you're still using the older version of shells that have the narrow space end cap, it possible would break this pushing pin again. Can't believe APS makes this piece of garbage that doesn't fit it's own product?? Or I may not good enough to get it done??

IMO, any one will fit. It depends on how do you like the way it looks. On RS shotgun, some of them have longer shell tube than the barrel. At first I didn't like it. Since I have the 16" original barrel, then I shorten the shells tube. Now I have the +1 on it, looks not bad tho. Tried it with 14" barrel, also looks good. But if you like to have a balance look, the new 16" with thread is the one after you add the flash hilder(choke tube) in front of barrel.
three of the looks: long barrel with shot shells tube, both are same length, or short barrel with long shell tube. Pick whatever you like, simple!
If I could afford it, I would have all three of the size from 16", 14" and the new AOW all versions collected. I'm now waiting for the AOW arrive new year January. If you even noticed my post in Marui M870, I have both versions already, the full size M870 and Breacher.

APS-concept replied me that this pushing pin is designed for generation 2 bolt but never mention on the item description. What a service support?? Even they said it needed a bit modify to make it works, told me to check with local dealer to find out how. Do you think I could get someone in Toronto to help me out. Hah! Why don't they just guide to diy it?? Poor customer service.

Lol, that is quite sad. I doubt any local dealers would know anything about that.

Good thing they replied, and atleast we know now!

By "matches" I meant the barrel and the extension at the same lenght.

So for having the +1 extension comes flush to the barrel the good combo is +1 extension + 16inch barrel , am I right ?

thx again

I don't have the 16" with thread barrel. Based on my 14" barrel with the +one shell tube, the barrel shorten around 2", if 16" thread barrel is same 2" longer than the 14" one, that would be close to same length, more or less. If you need pics for reference that I have, let me know

here you go..

Top - 14" barrel
Bottom - 20" barrel with +1

14" barrel and +1 shell tube, the 2" choke tube on side cause no thread on barrel
