MK18 MOD0
Added the Aimpoint magnifier recently. The paint don't match the rifle. I don't care. Maybe it will be a later project to repaint the whole kit.

Can you expand on your post - is it water transfer?

DIY or did you have someone do the work for you?

How do you like it? Durable? etc.

It's DIY or DIM in my case.. I did this with Krylon Camo paints.. Tan, Brown and OD with a little custom mixing for the different shades. Just a sponge and some patience.

I basically used those 3 colors but also mixed a 50/50 tan brown mix, a 75/25 brown tan mix, and a 50/50 green tan mix. So all in total it was 6 colors. I'd suggest wearing rubber gloves though, took me longer to clean my hands after than it did to do the paintjob..

I know Krylon makes a camo ultra flat clear coat, I'd love to find some but it seems impossible. As of right now it's not cleared but I have to add something to protect it.. Might have to settle with a satin finish and scuff i with steel wool to dull it down.

Thanks for the info - great job!

I would like to see the entire weapon painted - then it would be a show-stopper and really effective at the same time...
