A part fell off my gun last week.
a Tm G17 custom,

G17-9, its front the blowback housing,
I remove the part and the gun still seems to fonction properly.
The gun have many upgrade parts. Probably a assembly error from my part.

What's the fonction of that part?
feeling the space?

Side note: the first time I disassemble the gun I notice a big rubber Ring between part g17-5 and G17-8 that was not on the part chart.
The screw (g17-6) might not be long enought to keep the G17-9 in place.

I have the Airsoft Surgeon Super Hard Loading Nozzle for Marui Glock 17 / 26

Thanks

I think that part works as some sort of guide to the nozzle.

Where do you people find Airsoft Surgeon nozzles?

My gun doesnt even have that part in it. So if it functions without it, as does mine, you should be good to go.

Classifieds. AS nozzles are not made anymore, so you have to find them off the people that bought them originally.

They're nice but other alternates exist. I've had great results with the GunsModify nozzle and a third party piston head. I'd avoid the metal options though.

GunsModify muzzles are garbage, IMO.

I broke three of them in 1 week successions. I'm not even joking.
One cracked at the body and the other two had the exit hole crack....

Metal ones aren't that bad to work with either. You just have to know how to manipulate them...

Really? I've been running mine aggressively with no problem for about six months now.

It's function is to stablilize the nozzle so that when it recoils, the nozzle won't be coming in crooked and what not.

You don't need to worry about this part for the most part but you should definitely have it in there. Find a way to secure it. Glue it on or something....

Yeah.

Normal mags too. with stock everything else. SO I never buy them anymore.
But that's just my experience anyways...

but to be honest with you, I've been out of G-Mod's product line lately. I wouldn't know what a decent replacement would be for that AS muzzle kit or if the G-Mod nozzles are better now.

I got my G-Mods when they first came out. I still have a few of those "first gen" ones. Knowing G-Mod, they might've came out with a million other versions by now. Last I checked they on Version 2 of their nozzle kits.

I should really start building my Glocks again. lol.

I currently use the UAC G17 Aluminium nozzle. With the original piston head setup I'm getting about 265 FPS on .25 (310 FPS on .20). It is probably a serious contender to the AS Super Hard Nozzle.

Dual Recoil Spring prototype for TM Glock 17 Gen 4. We'll see if it does anything else besides look nice.

The first G-Mod nozzle of mine broke after 2-3 rounds. But G-Mod told everyone to take a pictures about their destroyed nozzles, give an address and they would send a replacement for free.
I got 2 from them and since then I have been using those. No issues so far.
One even worked with CO2 magazines.

Got a linK?

Does anyone have experience with GunsModify slides and barrels? They seem to come for a decent price with many accessories.

So I got another SD 150% hammer spring. But I'm still not able to fire the gun when its hot out. I am still getting light strikes. IO have to bleed propane out of the mags for it to fire.

What is going on? I was under the impression when you upgrade the gun to work on propane...it would well...work. Why am I getting continued light strikes :/

Have a metal slide, with the guarder frame, airsoft surgeon piston, SD 150% hammer spring and recoil spring.....cant fire in 30 degree weather without venting the mags....indoors 40+ shots per mag :/

Naturally, the SD hammer spring should eliminate your issues.
I would check your firing pin and stuff to make sure there is no binding of any kind.

Either that or you modify the firing pin extensively altogether.

There's a myriad of things to look at really. it's hard to tell what's wrong if i dont have the gun in front of me.

Worst case scenario, you can send it to a gun doc.

What's your hammer assembley made up of?

The hammer assembly is stock except for the spring and valve knocker which are from SD (steel).
