are the samurai elcan replicas illuminated? The one I got a while ago wasnt illuminated, was easier to just walk the BBs to your target than using the damn thing.

The only illuminated Elcan's are the real C79 and the Classic Army M145.

I emailed the guy and asked about that elcan sight that I had posted and he said they were back ordered and possibly discontinued...

Yeah, I haven't found anybody else carrying them yet.
Try the Guarder ELKEN that's at Redwolf though

Look at what I found:
The Elken Scope by Rap4. My brother is a Rap4 dealer and can get any Rap4 item. Just shoot me a PM and I can get a price for you on anything rap4. I think I am going to pick the scope up for myself. |

Interesting that they'd pick the same name Guarder chose...Elken...
I'm gonna guess that these are the same optics by the choice.

Well I am going to pick one up in the new year, so I will tell you what the quality is, being as I have used the real CF issued Elcan Scopes aka the C79 sights. I should be able to tell the difference in the quality of the optics.

Well, my C8 body is on its way. This should be a pretty hot-looking gun once it's all together.

Thats the guarder replica. The Crosshairs are wrong (ACOG rather than C79) and aren't quite the right length or diameter. They look ok from a distance, but I hated mine.

Crunchmeister where did you get your Elcan?

I bought mine on ebay. Was about $130 or so after shipping, if memory serves me correctly.
I like it. It's not an exact replica by any means, but the optics are very clear and I like that it's illuminated too. It's proven itself to be quite accurate on both my airsoft rifles (it was more the deviance of airsoft BBs than the scope), and even moreso on my Beretta Cx4 Storm pellet carbine.

That would e sweet if they started making cadpat stuff. Maybe they could start to compete with CPGear. As they are probably the number one after market cadpat dealer on the market.
