The Glock is a true battle sidearm, one that lends itself well to modern manufacturing processes. They are simple and, because they are simple, they are fast and easy to operate.

Yeah, but, Gaston Glock was still suckling from his mom's tit when John M. Browning's designs were double tapping oppressive Germans, with impressive moustaches.

The venerable 1911-style automatic comes from a time when they were hand-made by skilled craftsmen, but they do not lend themselves well to modern manufacturing processes. Though severely outdated and well surpassed, it is nevertheless an excellent sidearm. Mind you, pretty much any handgun can be lethal in the right hands - shoot a man in the brain or the heart with any bullet and he WILL reconsider his itinerary.

In my personal opinion (which is shared by many professional shooters and operators infinitely more skilled and experienced than myself), the Glock is simply the best sidearm you can carry. It's not a work of art, it's a functional battle handgun - plain and simple. But much respect to everything else out there! I originally learned how to shoot on a Colt 1911.

This is my TM G26 Adavance. It is stock. I would prefer a G17 just for the look but it is as accurate as the G17. It keeps a lot of gaz in the mags. Very godd GBB. The glocks are the best handguns I think very light very accurate very tactical. I would stay with glocks.

It's a bitch to find g26 slides. No way you'll find a g26a metal barrel too.

Well, this is my little contribution. Again, my SOG Spec-Elite II, and my TM G21 .45ACP (6mm) "thug suppressor".

ENJOY.
