I'm building a Cossack inspired 'irregular' loadout, which means to most folks I'll probably be seen as a badguy. Possibly with a sabre just for the lulz.

Bad?

A simple mask makes all the difference.

Thanks! If you check out the Multicam thread, you'll see I really just switched an M4 for an RPK, and added a mask, and suddenly I'm the bad guy!

Frozen Tex, I have no idea how you manage not to overheat in that mask. The first pic is great, it really captures the badguy look. The second looks too much like a tanside good guy wearing a mask :P

By the time the second pic was taken, I'd added the plate carrier and helmet for A) Carrying extra mags for the RPK, and B) added head protection; I was gonna pretty much be playing a "juggernaut" role, and, as luck would have it, I took a Madbull M203 shell point-blank in the face, so I was glad for the extra coverage.
But yeah, the mask and "PACA" by themselves look much more "bad guy".

Too much "good-guy gear," but I still got stuff on the way to look less "good-guy impersonating bad-guy." Most of the tac-gear is from my "good-guy" load-out, and I only just started putting the "bad-guy" load-out together.

I think it's alright for a "generic baddie" look; I don't want to go for a 1:1 perfect imitation of any actual group or anything. Think generic middle-eastern video-game bad-guys, or something...

A little bad-assery... Too bad no pics with the full loadout with the AKMS and black AK chestrig...

(I'm the one in black...)

My sniping partner was Philkensebben... Often badass himself, no too mention pretty punk rock.

Pffft! Badasses don't use protective pads. That's why we bitch so much, it's always something.

Tell that to my elbow... :P (see the latest posted pics on "Great White North")

The kneepads are necessary there. Too much scrap metal and rusty nails.
