Well I finally went over the edge and decided to get an Ops Core Base Jump (real not repro). I was close to getting a Protec Bravo but patience paid off. Since it is multicam I am leaning towards getting a War Bungee instead of the First Spear cover I was set on, I'm also considering a TYR cover but I'm not sure. The wait is killing me and I still can't believe I'm getting one without the insane waiting period. I will post some pics once I have it.

Now I just have to start saving for nv! Who knows maybe by the time I have that money I can get a PSQ-20 DSNVG or maybe even a set of GPNVG's. (I can dream can't I?)

I just discovered this awesome cup, it basically fits my headgear just like a bust would...

Meet Mr. Cup:

Nothing to fancy yet, though I plan to throw a laundry bag over it and get some paint pattern going on.

Even minus the paint job, it's looking pretty badass so far.

Added some Krylon Fusion-Camouflage Brown, with a sprinkling of Khaki over top:

iPhone camera is bad, I'll probably get some shots with the DSLR when I get unlazy.

*Edit: Should be noted the mandible protection is removable, and I don't think I'll ever be using it as it's just a pain to wear a microphone with it on.
Reminds me of boxing headgear :/. Surprised they didn't go with the Batlskin type mandible.
