My god...that thing is beautiful, I might just have to rid myself of the M500 to fund the purchase of one of those. I think another mostly wood gun would go nicely with the Thompson, provided I could find a real wood stock replacement...

Thanks Nocturnal.

This is very interresting.

A question for the owners of a M14.

The Heat cover on top of the M14, is it sturdy or crab.

It makes me consider getting an od stock model and just buying a real wooden stock to swap for different era kits.
really? do you have any info on this.... would be kinda cool to have both!

there is a walnut wooden stock out already.

Blastyman: didn't know there was a shorty barrel kit for the TM. But I think i'll stick with G&G for now, for certain reasons

Sorry I remember seeing it on a site recently saying it was going to be released, and that it will fit both tm and g&g models but I can't remember what site I saw it on now.

It'll be nice if it's one of the first upgrades out seeing as it will be so anticipated but who knows how long it'll take to see them out on the market.
Especially when I don't even remember where I saw it or what company is working on it. lol

If anyone else has seen anything on a wooden stock please post a link.

I bought a wood m14 stock from a gunshop today. I saw a guy on another forum already fit his TM to it. I am going to try and do the same on sunday. Picked u a bipod and scope mount while I was at it too.

btw the TM m14 scope mount hole is 5mm so you will have to use either a different bolt for a real mount, redo the threads on either the reciever or the bolt or buy a TM specific mount.

I am going to run the die over the real bolt tonight and try to get it to work on the TM reciever.

If all goes will I will post up pics probably by monday of progress of my m14-m21

Here is what I got on mine so far. Just slapped the aimpoint on for now. Scope should be here tuesday for it.

I will get out my chisel and dremel and try and get the wood stock on this weekend.
