Intro.
Well here goes. Recently Airsoft has been getting my attention (damn the internet) and I was delighted to see that Ontario had a prominent Airsoft community. I'm waiting to pick which university I will be shipped off to next year so I'm currently holding back on buying any guns or gear until I know that could potentially Airsoft regularly during my univ first year. I'm very curious as to how Airsoft feels like to play so if any of you know of a good 'newbie' event happening near the GTA please don't hesitate to mention something! Here's to hoping that Airsoft becomes my new main hobby.

Hey everyone, I've been a ghost on ASC since 03, enjoying the tactical discussions and milsim discussions. School made it hard to be directly involved in airsoft as I was already into paintball which is expensive in its own right. I'm looking to get AV'd, and run a lightweight PMC loadout, fitting my aggressive play style. I value professionalism, sportsmanship and beer(common themes to ASC). I'm wondering how I could rent an AEG? It seems most airsofters are not all too fond of walk-ons (I'll wear camo dont worry lol). Any help would be appreciated, see you guys on the frontline.
Cheers, Andrew

Hello Groomer.
If your interested in participating in an event contact the event planner/organizer and let them know that you are interested in playing but would like to rent. He will present the request to other players and something will most likely be worked out.

Hey everyone, the name is Peter (Spike9). I’ve been thinking of this whole airsoft thing for quite some time. I’ve played scenario paintball a few times in the past with buddies and rented equipment and really enjoyed playing, but never took the leap to actually by my own equipment. Being older with kids it’s hard to find time to do this kind of stuff on a regular basis, but I’d still like to give it a try. I spent a few years in the reserves when I was younger and made it to the rank of corporal in the Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment; in my days they were a mechanized infantry unit. I was a Grizzly/Cougar/Husky driver, a small arms coach and a member of the unit’s shooting team; so I’m no stranger to military tactics or equipment. Of course one of the things I really enjoyed was the weekend and summer exercises.
I have over the years collected my own little arsenal of fire arms that were a lot of fun to shoot until they changed all the laws, now most of them collect dust because they can’t leave the house. I figure getting into airsoft will allow me to bring back some of the joy of shooting military style weapons and military styled exercises and maybe even just a little target shooting. I might be a little rusty, but I’m sure it won’t take long to get up to speed. Name: Peter Callsign: Spike9 Age: 45 Prefered style of Play: Milsim Location: Barrie, Ontario Preferred Gun some kind of M4/M16 variant; kind of hooked on the HK416 at the moment along with 1911 or 226 sidearm. Anyhow, there you have it, me in a nut shell. Thanks!

Hi all!
Another airsoft newb signing in! I've recently moved to Fort Mac from Nova Scotia and since all of my paintball gear is back home the money I spend shipping it out could be spent buying some airsoft gear I've played paintball for years and always admired the airsoft guns, but there weren't any players at home, so I had to make my paintball guns milsim-ish I built an A5-MP5SD and a Smart Parts Ion Blackcell (I used to have a q-loader but the rotor is just easier to use) Hopefully I'll get to see you guys and gals at some events! |

Hi everyone,
I have been interested in airsoft and paintball for a while but school and other commitments have been in the way. I recently met someone who is already into it so me and 4-5 friends are talking about getting into this as well. Name: Mark Callsign: Canadianbagel Age: 29 Prefered Style of Play: Not sure yet but leaning towards Milsim Location: Winnipeg, MB Gun: None yet but doing a tonne of research I will be spending a lot of time in the next few weeks researching in the newbie section. Finally, I want to give a shoutout to any other pinoys and chinoys here as well. |

Hello Everyone, My name is also Peter and I am from Kingston Ontario. To start things off I am not old enough to buy Airsoft guns yet so don't expect to see me at any games unless I'm spectating or running around with my Camcorder/Camera and getting to know people, Given that is actually allowed of course, Honestly not sure.
Not much else to say about myself really I guess. I have a couple hobbies. I play games and I do some 3D Modelling work on my PC, not much else. I'll probably be sticking around the off topic section. |

Booyah!
Hola all! I've been on the ASC forums for a spell and have just finished gearing out a full kit. I used to play paintball off and on for a few years and have been missing the rush of getting my ass handed to me, bullet-riddled for a while now. I'm looking forward to meeting some of you on the field ")
