Me. I run standard M4 and Mk10 Mod1 GBBRs. You're not alone now.

Why is there so many elastics? The one on PEQ, Eotech, and pistol grip.
Usually RS operators use zipties for the PEQ, the optics, I haven't seen anyone do that for zipties though. Optics should always be tight on..

Normally you use elastics on the pistol grip / foward vertical grip for a better grip / non-slipperish grip. AS for the one on the stock it's maybe to make sure the release catch doesn't wobble and by that making some noise.

As for the others (An/Peq, EOTech), I have no fucking clue lol.

Good mount hardware shouldn't need zip ties or elastics. I'm afraid to leave elastics on anything too long, I've had multiple items react with the rubber and the elastic became part of it. Putting an elastic on the stock is good when you need to be sneaky, I agree.

Hockey tape is decent for added grip, stippling though time consuming, is probably the best.

Can anyone tell me why there is two flashlights on jarhead's perty gun?

Because "Two is one and one is none". It's incase one gets shot/battery dies/broken he can still use the other, seeing as this is non life threatening airsoft, he probably has 2 different powers, one lower for searching one ridiculously bright for spotting/blinding.

Not sure what the rubber band is going to do for you if somehow your actual optic/PEQ mount fails....at that point you might as well take the part off and throw it at your opponent, as they don't do jack all at that point...

You all have great points!

I did them just because I didn't have zipties to do the jobs at the time I took the photos. The replica EOTech cover doesn't lock itself well and recoil bumps it open from time to time and I lose battery connection.

On AN-PEQ, yes, no use if it gets loose, but better than losing it in the field where I can't even find it.

On pistol grip, yes, more grips, that's all...

I just use whatever in my hand at the time to do it...I can't make the gun pretty when I'm doing the job in the field...maybe it's the time to make my buddy pretty now...since it serves me too well...
