I like the SCAR but they are just too big. Also, the barrel is way too low relative to the rail level.

How many of you m4 owners, instead of getting separate m4s, basically just build different uppers that you can replace with your lower? So you can have a CQB version and a DMR version. You could even carry the spare upper assembly around so you can hot swap on the field.

Lot's of owners do this. Some owners just prefer another M4 as a back up or spare though. Could always bring a friend out and they could use the other M4, or if one breaks down.

Yep, I do both. I have my a SOPMOD block 2 14.5" upper, and a mk18 mod 0 10.5" one, mostly for indoors. I'm considering turning the latter into a 18" or 20". It'll depend on what I end up doing with my second m4
