I repainted my L96 this morning. I wanted a simple paintsheme to hide the previous one. I might add some stensil this summer. The scope will be taped and painted later.

Might be hard to tell on the picture, I used OD, tan and brown. I used some hunter spray paint. I don't know the brand. It's the one sold in a kit at Sail.
It worked descently. But I think I prefer Krylon.

I present the redone paintjob, less eye stabbing than before.
by the way RITZ, it was a stencil last time

This time it was masking.
Since I fail at photography (I'll get the other half to take pictures properly later, she knows what she's doing), have a blurry picture and a washed out picture!
The result of lots of branches and...stuff.

Here comes my last paintjob (back in march, when I was still in Toulouse) using krylon khaki and med brown on my former G36K ARES (gen 4). That's the third I made and my first "snakeskin" (the first two were digital camouflage).
The red dot is an ACM Aimpoint CompM4 (very nice one with AA battery).

Definitly the best paintjob I ever made.

To do that I had to completely unmount the gun.

It's too cold too do a good paint right now but I will try to make one with Duracoat next time.

Worked great in bushes with my multicam gear.

As a french guy I can, but a lot of people here speak english and it's late, so I didn't.

I'll add painting to my "service" as gun doc when the weather will be warmer (or if I find a heated place to do my work. :wink:
