I tried a few different ideas before I built this and read some threads by others who had tried it. The issue with firing more than 1 bb from a single barrel is if its all on one cycle then theres the very real possibility its gonna jam all the time. A 3-5 rnd burst might work but it gets complicated and expensive at that point buying new gearsets and delayers etc.

The inner dimensions of the 12 gauge sized outer barrel is enough to accommodate the tri-shot system but a whole new gearbox would have to be built shell up.

Why not just re-jig a Maruzen M1100 system to fit inside an AK receiver? The system's a bit underpowered, but if you're mechanically inclinded enough to do the shoehorning, then you should be able to fix the bugs in the system to be a high performance semi auto airsoft shotgun.

(I tried it once, but gave up cause I wasn't mechanically inclinded enough to beef up the Maruzen semi auto system, plus the fps on those things SUCK as stock. Also, you'd have to develop a feed system since the loading tube would be elminated and Saiga's use a mag)

I'm on the drawing board right now with using the Walter sg3000 multi shot gas shotgun as internals and develope a magazine fed system and then just build internals around it. Such as AA-12. I have a guy in the states (Sean is his name) of the rpf.com who sells replica moulds of the shotgun Reese used in predators. Just my idea.

Took some decent pics of the collection:

Gas blowback SVD with real steel furniture, scope, sling, and cheek rest. NPAS installed.

GHK gas AKM. Real Sling, Izhmash buttstock, pistol grip, and upper handguard.

LCT AKS-74N. Real Izshmash handguards, magazine, sling, and real flash hider and cleaning rod.

WE AKS-74UN. Real selector switch and sling. Pictured with real bakelite mag.

Forgot to take equally good pics of this GHK AKMS gas blowback. On the ares launcher it shows that as bad as Asian english is, Asian Russian is even worse. The "made in russia" is complete nonsense.

SPEPANO V ROSSNN

It's supposed to say "Sdelano v Rossii"

Nice SVD, Ithink you've got one of the best looking AK collections I've seen on ASC.

I'm assuming the SVD is a WE? I haven't heard of an NPAS out for the AIM SVD yet.

How does it shoot? I've read the NPAS isn't very consistent and reduces accuracy. I'm interested in a SVD for a DMR loadout (sub 400fps) somewhere down the line (running before walking again..) but the AIM SVD shoots way too hot and the WE apparently has a ton of issues?

Thank-you! AKs are definitely my latest passion.

The NPAS installed is this one.

It is not the traditional whole-bolt carrier system and I hear it works very well but is harder to adjust on the fly since it requires complete dissassembly. I've also got steel internals installed in the WE SVD. I can't tell you how well it works until my chrono arrives from Toronto Airsoft.

willing to perform services in a dark alley that may or may not leave you satisfied for a title. GFE = 1, looks = 2, BBFS for an extra $50.

Something about the RA-Tech hand guard color bothered me so I refinished it with red mahogany and polyurethane mixed with Rit-Dye. I was impatient and reassembled it before I was done. I should have done four or five more coats of poly to give a deeper red candy effect. The color is a bit darker than it appears on camera.

Here is the updated parts list:

Hephaestus steel trigger set
FG high speed buffer
FG low flow system
RA-Tech wood handguard
RS bakelite grip
Maple Leaf 75 degree Hop-Up Rubber

The hammer broke so I bought a reinforced one. The trigger box cracked, so I cut a steel plate and reinforced that. I finally get it working again and the first day I use it the hammer spring snaps... So this ones out of action again.

But at least it looks good

Figured this was the best place to ask this, but I normally get my AK related optics stuff from Kalinka Optics. However, it seems like they no longer ship to Canada.

Im looking for this:
http://kalinkaoptics.com/bp-02-unive...-centered.html

Anyone know where else I can get it from? Or something similar?

Start making Russian friends and you'll no longer need to worry about who will ship what to where

I've been eying Zenit stuff for a bit now, very tempted.

I have the Asura repro zenit rail on my AK-74M and we have 3 of the Core repros of the PKM rail on the teams PKMs. They're nice...
