Airsoft 11.1v is fine for cylinders M90 to M150.

Quality RC 11.1v can run every cylinder under the sun. For the TW5 you can fit a nice 100C 5000mah 11.1 in the gun and it will run nice.

Things that you should do regardless

1. Replace that god awful Tamiya connector
2. If possible replace the quick disconnect spade connectors.

Make sure your motor isn't one of those fake modified motors. I have a "modified" motor in the TW5 I am working here and the commutator/armature is a Pile of shit FCC one. The comm needs to be lathed smooth since the FCC one is rough.

The biggest annoyance with the TW5. Is getting the trigger spring, selector cylinder and ECU in without destroying the ECU. The next issue is making sure you don't pinch the wiring (The black heatshrink is on your pics) when you open / close the receiver. Then the so called "quick" cylinder swap isn't so quick. Lastly, MP-RE-005 is prone to breaking buy a couple of spares. or have one custom made from some quality tool grade steel.

If you run an 11.1 battery, you will increase the cycle rate. This is fine, as long as the mags can keep up. It is a known issue to chop BBs in the M-series when running full-auto and M90-M110 with heavyweight BBs. Chopping in the M-series can damage the hopup and cylinder if unattended by cleaning debris or repeated further chopping, but not the sector gear typically.

This can have the unintended consequence of also jamming the hopup in the M-series, just like what happens in the TW5. Once this occurs, then damage can result.

If you have to run a lower cylinder like M90-M110, then stick to semi. Your odds of chopping and jamming is reduced 99% right there. Pick a quality BB that feeds well. Weed out any mags that fail to feed well and discontinue using them until you rectify the feeding issue.

There are a few TW5's in Canada, I personally know of about 5 of them, and there are most certainly more than that.

A few updates. Added an M600V, Haley Thorntail mount and dual pad for LDI and Surefire.

Very funny! I already google it and I always find store that sell the Systema for twice the price or not have them in stock at all. That why I ask you where I can find one.

I think B2 airsoft was saying they can order them in from redwolf. I doubt you'll find one on a store shelf anywhere.

No.
This is a "make the non-PTW users feel jealous and sad." thread.

She should arrive Wednesday, she's just beggin to be turned into a C8. I have all the CAD files for C7 and C8 trades somewhere, at least I used to, so the main bit of work is already out of the way :P
