A Garmin RINO 150 does that already-- provided there are other RHINO series GPS-FRS/GMRS systems in the field. It can maintain tracks on up to 30 other users in your area with the RINO.

Makes hunting the enemy easy too if they don't RTFM and disable it in game or at least code to only broadcast to other RINOs on the same FRS frequency.

Hell, people have a hard time coordinating themselves in the field with hand signals and a radio...

Authenticity A+, usefulness in the field during an airsoft game F-

Things like comms and handheld gps navigation (plgr/dagr) are more useful.

This thing is cool, no doubt about that, but for the price, impractical, especially with only a 1km range. Your range is always cut down in the canopy/bush, sometimes by as much as half or more, so a 1km rating is useless. When I played, we had 3-5km rated gmrs radios fail to reach even 1km (and these were brand name radios) when you got onto the feild in the bush. Some features sure do seem to have potential, but not with a 1km range and the high price tag.

The page on EBB in the coming soon section has been deleted a few months ago... Makes me think it has been trashed.

Really? I wasn't aware of this, thanks for the info.

I absolutely don't need that, but damn it'd be cool

i didn't really believe it then, and while the tracker unit has come along since..

i think it'll be quite a while before airsofters get anything like landwarrior, sad to say but it's true. Plus, it's hard enough for airsofters to get COMSEC into their heads, let alone little doo-hickies like this..

EDIT: Seeing as their is already a cheap-ass night vision build (like the thing given away with MW2) why hasn't anyone done this with a PVS 7 or 14 yet?
i know they suck but i'd pay 200 dollars for a decent external replica that has SOME function..

Never mind COMSEC, how about just basic voice procedure? LOL.
