They told me in PLAIN english that they expect the plate is coming at the of March. I can ask in Chinese if you want but I'm likely to get the truthful answer from them and you don't want that.

Sir Bacon Meister, Did you receive your MS2 sling yet? Impressions, opinions, comments....?? I've been working my way through Magpul's Art of the Tactical Carbine DVDs and noticed Chris using what looks like a prototype version of their MS2 from time to time. Given how narrow the webbing material is, I wonder if slinging a heavy rifle for a few hours straight might become a wee bit uncomfortable? It does look like a good design otherwise but IMHO, it really does need to be mated with the ASAP plate to realize it's full potential. 'Fly

I'll have more info later. I don't have the ASAP (ITAR BS), but it's all good because it doesn't work with the UBR anyways.

MS2 is in.
I have it hooked up to a QR mount in the UBR. It works QUITE well. It's the ONLY sling I've ever used that I actually like. MS2 = PIMP.

what front attachement point would fit the claw that is used on the sling better?
The QD swivel type? http://www.cobratactical.com/Midwest...8HD_p_695.html Or the HK style. http://www.cobratactical.com/Midwest...op-_p_694.html On Chris Costa's setup he uses a CQD mount but it has been modified since the slings attachement point won't interface with the CQD: http://www.cqd.net/CQDFSM.php I've been reading that people are replacing the magpul clip with HK clips

CQD one would be the best one to use since its stationary while your trying to hook it on.Plus you've got lots of space.I use the CQD one awesome buy my sling that turns one point into 2 point.

Thanks for the info I ask because many American real steel shooters are writing that the clasp used on the MS2 will not securely lock onto a CQD front mount without modifiying the plate. Many of them are replacing it with a standard HK clasp.

The LockJaw clasp is quite big. I don't see the HK loop working well.

I just bought an ASP off CGN. Should be here in a couple days. I'll see how I like it on the AR.
Now I just need to get a UBR and I'm done (the CTR simply isn't in fashion anymore).

The ASAP doesn't work with the UBR.
