Yes they do. A build Im working on right now is going to cost more than $1500 start to finish.

1500 for a highly customized gun with the best of everything put into it yes, however you can get a great gun for far less than that, perhaps Bowers was suggesting that when you get into those price ranges, you are typically in PTW country

my definitions are slightly different i spose i see "great gun" as CA, ICS, TM which based off of 007's prices were only what 450-750 range depending on the model? |

$1500 is the cost without the use of the best of everything yet.
It would probly got up to $2000 if I was using the best I could find. However my goal is to keep the costs down without skimping out to much. Quote:
However there are prebuilds out get up there as well, but they are niche guns and rare guns.

Its tough, and the parts Ive selected are very hard to find. Some dont even exist in the airsoft world, hense the costs rise when you have to buy realsteel to mod.
Like I always say, cost usually reflects quality, however I cant justify spending 2k on something I only do as a pastime, $1500 isnt very justifiable to me either but at the sametime I cant stop thinking about it. Its been on my mind every minute of every day.

Negatory.
PTW country is about 3-4k away. My PTW with mags is at 2.5k. I still need cyl, and bats. So it'll be at 3k when everything's said and done. Usually 1.3k will land you an awesome AEG with the works... Pro-win boxes included |

I know a proffessional HTML and PHP programmer that, if paid, could make a script that you have to answer a quiz to be able to enter the actual forums themselves.
In fact he had a script exactly like that on his old forums. There was an FAQ with all the answers, then the person would have to find all the answers to the quiz by reading the FAQ. If 80% was scored, then their permissions were automatically updated. Would really help on this forum if you ask me |

An 8mm PGC prowin, with gears, motor and switch set, shipping included can set a person back about $500 alone. Granted if your not using crap brand gears and crap brand motor.

items such as this plus hundreds of other options are available to you when you follow the rules of the buy and sell section. (ps) this isnt a "pro upgraded weapon" like you say,,,this is "out of the box stock" just an example of whats available when you follow the rules. Last edited by six4; June 27th, 2008 at 23:54.. |

Sorry, child, but I certainly do. Pusanagi: carry on. Ruiz: shut the fuck up and get off my forum.

these threads add a lil spice to the forum sometimes but yeah it does get pretty repetitive, I'd vote yes on that idea too, then the ones that make it through would truly deserve the flames if they should know better. |
