All fancy bits aside...
How does it stack up to an upgraded AEG? |

Well if you upgrade it with the parts available, it wouldn't have any problems except cooling if shot in full auto for a long duration. But thats nothing a change of mag can't fix.
Accuracy i can't say, i haven't tried the 6.01mm tight bore. It's stock accuracy was good, not a nail driver but you will hit your target. |

Another gas-in-mag gun. Yay. Expensive proprietary mags, unadjustable gas supply, and anemic recoil.
You want a GBB M4 that takes lowcaps and kicks like a mule? Check the buy & sell. Deep pockets required but good luck finding someone else stupid enough to part with one. |

I actually agree with Gryphon, external gas rigs are way better for preformance and having a tank isn't THAT big of a deal esp for those who wear huge chest rigs :P

..called my boss today and I let him know about this dream. He emailed his Inokatsu rep for estimated release date and price... Should have info from Inokatsu, if they dont release it themselves, at most by end of the week.
Personally, pending further information concerning compatibility with other length barrels, grips and stocks, Im most likely going to sell off most of my aegs and pimp out one of these. If I sold my whole armory I could be one of those loaded retards who puts like 5K into one gun, with real Insight ISMs and EO Tech Magnifiers and LaRue flip-to-side mounts with CASVs and real SureFire M900 ABs and whatnot... and a shitload of mags... sounds like a plan... maybe.

Paintball and airsoft aren't that far apart where the equipment is concerned. If not for the fact that a piston driven by spring and motor doesn't compress enough air to effectively propel a paintball, do you not think paintballers would be all over a more compact setup? These beloved PTWs with their electronics and mouse-click triggers - the tech has been used in paintball for about a decade now.
The show of support for the GBB rifles seems to be in large part due to the realism compared to the real steel it replicates, *including* the feel of reciprocating mass on each shot. Well guess what - for those for whom tactile feedback is a major factor, gas-in-mag guns will simply never perform even close to the standards of their counterparts for feel of recoil. When it comes down to it, we play with grown-ups' toys, and with all toys there must be trade-offs for certain desired aspects. With all of the gear, mags, sling and wiring for comms, I really don't see what the big deal is for one more coiled line, but that's me. I'm not putting down the GBB rifles at all - they look to be marvelously designed replicas and I'd love to get my hands on one or three. But to put down external air rigs and, in effect, all classic airsoft and the very roots of our sport seems kind of silly. Last edited by Endymion; June 13th, 2008 at 02:24.. |

Why bother with external rigs when the gas in mag works fine?
People are complaining about something they never even used. |

Glad to see you know where we're coming from, Captain Obvious. Let us know when you fire a gun with an Escort engine in it.
I can use any M16 airsoft mag in my gun. I really like using the cheap realcaps because I can throw them around with reckless abandon and not hurt them. How bout yours? |

Like Gryphon says they are like the gas equivalent to Systema. Personally I wouldn't mind carrying a rig cause I got blowback, no whiny aeg noise, and you can use it in the water :P |

*premature gas loosing power while auto or brust
*Inokatsu product was many modfication reqeird to assembly *There is no high output valve, *this gun must frist be enhanced bolt stop parts with CNC bolt carrier *GBB is so weak than Should be release to interparts frist, not external Last edited by lee1hy; June 13th, 2008 at 03:28.. |
