Ya,the back portion will be a breeze with the reamer tool I'm having made. What I mean is the cylinders will not even slide in up to the thickened back part of the cylinders.you would think they should slide in for the first 5" till they hit that point you need to mill out. After lapping with a 1" steel dowel for about 15 minutes ,the blue slides in to the ridge, the gold slides about half way and the two red ones I have to twist them in.So the cylinders vary in diameter a few thou .Just wondering if anyone else has run into this before.4 RS uppers ,4 cylinders what are the odds I'm the only one .Just saying I haven't read anything about this. That's all. lapping is working.
The Colt upper with the bigger front take down pin hole,I have a bushing with an off set hole.I plan on loctiteing it in perm, when and if I use that upper.I'm leaning more to the flat top armalite for now.But am planing on spare complete uppers later . |

The red cylinders use an o-ring to seal the cylinder head to the cylinder. They may be slightly ballooned due to the o-ring. This will obviously alter it's diameter by a tad.

I will make you a deal.... I will trade +cash from you my modified MUR for another unmodified MUR... How does that sound?.... No, that MUR is going to be a CBQR along with a real CASV-EL and other accesories from VLTOR only....

do not locktite that bushing on the SP1, it needs to move around to have the SP1 flush againsnt the lower so there will be no crack, well mine is that way..... I have no problem with all 4 cylinders... well the red is a very snug, but the rest is good Last edited by leblanc74; February 25th, 2008 at 11:32.. |

Thanks for the comment! In my point of view, my buddy's one is way more insane than mine. Quote:
Guns & Guys does the engraving. It cost around $150USD for the engraving on the low receiver and the barrel.

Wow, now thats realism, even putting in a Vtlor gas block on a PTW. Though I don't see a gas tube from the camera angles.
Its ironic, when the toy gun cost more than the real-deal. And ends up being a "safe-queen" as its too beautiful to get skirmished with, as scratches, beauty marks, are just too unbearable! Sucks too when the new blaster doesn't go bang, and becomes a giant paper-weight, though a chicks-dig-it/cool-guy paper weight at that! But hey power to you, for having one kick ass unique looking airsoft gun, so realistic I would have to break open the receiver or pull the charging handle to verify its a replica. Quote:
