I agree.

I've pretty well got my kit done, aside the Thompson falling in half hiccup which is still to be fixed...

Well I was thinking that we could use some of the uk rules, http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/ . they have rules so that guys that are just getting into the sport can play too.

I myself still haven't got my mag pouchs, belts, boot, or clothing. But I do have a beautiful mp40 sitting with seven mags begging to shot some peoples.

I was thinking of using my flectarn until I can afford some more gear.

Just took a look at that site and I gotta say, it's probably our best bet to follow their idea... but once we get out there a few times we'll most likely catch a few enthusiasts.

Wear your WWII uniforms and gear to regular airsoft skirmishes and hold some WWII events and it will catch on. That's how it started here on Ontario. There are others that want to put a kit together but think that they are the only ones out there so it's not worth it. The more they see others with kits the more likely they will put a kit together.

It's caught on so well here in Ontario that we are starting to get invited to non-airsoft events and that's pretty cool too!

Im Still looking for some WW11 People in the Okanagan, the young generation seems to prefer the ACUs, Can Pac, Afgan look but i wear my SS gear to some of the games in hopes of generateing some more interest here. I'm lovin the Tiger in the background!! Every airsoft field needs one of those.

Some good pics Doc, pretty much the exact load-out I'm going for. Is that an AGM MP-40?

Yes its the AGM and ive been very happy with it , i brought in a better battery and have thus far left it stock, it chronos at 330 with .20s I have a supplier here that can get me extra mags at a reasonible price. He could get in the MP40 in as well if interested?. I Also have the M37 Tunic with the Dark collar , but chose not to wear it that day for the heat issue. Im still collecting bits of kit but the dollar is a killer right now, id gladly send you more pics as it goes along. Id love to see some of yours as well and always enjoy kit and Unit Chat. I Think the cost is what makes it hard to gather more interest, when compared to the costs of ACUs ect. Im Hopeing to someday at least have a squad>> A Platoon would be sweet, but ill take it one man at a time. How about the Interest in your Area?? much Luck??

Haha, you'd think being in a city with over a million people there would already be some kind of WW2 group here, but unfortunately there has been no such luck.
I know what you mean about the $ right now, it's putting a big damper on a few must-have's on my kit (mainly most of it I don't have!).
I'm going to go with an M43 Dot 44 set w/ maybe some field grey trousers (or just standard 43 tunic).
Service shirt, M39 jackboots, Oak A smock & helmet cover, M43 hat, basicly kind of a late war load-out.
A Marushin MP-40 is my main weapon and have a P-38 coming soon for a side arm.
Still have about 6 or 7 hundred to invest still (and I still don't have my Kar 98 yet).
It just never ends.
