The best...

I like a lot of options, and I like lots of pockets...

so this is what I have done,

I wear standard old school CF OD green pants ( quick dry, cool, cheap ) and I have purchased a number of different smocks or shirts to top it off,

so far I have,

Tiger stripe, 3 flavours of Russian, 2 DPM, 1 Flectarn, and woodland

I kinda like the "irregular" look of the OD pants with camo top and gives me a lot of variety for about 2/3 the cost of complete outfits of each.

ACU sucks in the day, but its by far the most proffessional looking camo, really makes you look like you know what you're doing lol
If you know how to hide you could be wearing hunter orange overalls and still take out a few people.
ACU works incredibly well at night though, blends right into moonlight and lighter patches, you can lay down in an open field and people can walk within 5 feet and not see you. It's better to be a blueish greyish blob than a black blob

And this is the thing that many forget when tearing down ACU .. the USA owns the night... it makes complete sense for their camo to be optimized for darkness... Color does not mean squat after dark.. its is contrast and disruptive patterns that make the difference after dark. ACU is low contrast.. and disruptive... at night you are a ghost..

Airsofters are mostly afraid of the dark...so they only experience ACU in the full light of day...

Casey Who?

VIP Protection, I really don't give a shit who they are or what they do this thread is about what is the best camo (ACU). Last time I checked this was an airsoft forum, not a "what you do for a living forum".

Hey Thunder Cactus, seeing how you support ACU and the fact that you are on JSOC I assume you wear ACU, Just wondering what your opinion was on vest color for an acu kit> Coyote BRN. O.D. or ACU.

coyote TAN, desert tan to some extent, and ACU for effectiveness
if you want realism you can mix and match OD pouches in there lol
the ACU looks alot better for a complete kit...

coyote TAN also works fairly well, mainly because its designed to be standard issue for all US camouflages (woodland, OD, ACU, marpat, etc), I haven't seen many other companies produce it but I know blackhawk makes pretty well everything in coyote tan.
Coyote brown is darker and stands out a bit more from ACU, but it works. Try to get solid color items (like toques and gloves) in foliage green, and don't wear any black because it provides way too much contrast.
I'll post up pics of my LMG vest which will have tan, coyote brown and coyote tan elements, as soon as my pouches get here O_O

Multicam Still sucks!!!

Thanks, ThunderCactus I got a ACU Molle vest now but I was thinking of escalating up to a repro Spear vest in either ACU of Coyote. Your imput has been most helpful probly going to go with ACU. Great Picture BTW!

Also BEST camo for saskatchewan=> lol
