i didnt want to ditch the black gear, i kinda like the delta look thing, but ya, the more i look at these pics, the more i think tan stuff would be better. and as for painting my guns, nothings more sexy than a black gun, but then its not about looks, its about functionality... im haveing a tough time convincing myself i need to paint the gun.

Ahm...(don't we all buddy!) Treadstone prays for it. The BDU button thing is the most frustrating thing about the FR CQC building...oh man too much info...

SWAT13 - right you are buddy, function over form - when you do go there, I would suggest adding YELLOW's to the mix - the color works well.

In some places you can't see the gun for the trees...another thing is when prone, just push your face up against the receiver, especially handy when you don't wear facepaint.

The only place I will use a black gun is indoors these days. Once I got on that bus I never got off.

i just helpoed a mate paint his m14, we used alot of the khaki paint from krylon, thats a nice color, but mc has a definatly prodominant yellow ting to it, more like coyote brown, what color/shade/brand of yellow do you reccomend?

i love the way the BDU's are cut. i wish Crye made that style with CADPAT, im not really a big fan of multicam

yea for sure. most every member of my club and team uses 204, we compared it last game, and i was VERY surprised at the likeliness.

the color as near identical. the only difference was if you looked closely the fade between the green and tan was not really a fade, it was more a spotted/ speckel blending. thats trivial, as you only see that up close and under scrutiny. the other difference was obviously the material used, which added to the look of the camo, again, that wasnt noticable until scrutinized. i can say that 204 multicam is an AWESOME replica/ substitute to crye. it has many innovations crye doesnt have, and looks very close, and is 1/3 the price. i deffinatly reccommend purchasing their bdus. i was dead set on crye for the knee pads, the shirt and the authenticism. and also, if replicam worked as well as multicam, why wouldnt the military save themselves the hassle and by replicam? obviously there has to be a tactical advantage to them lol.

i will take some pics at our weekly game on sunday for you.

bottom is me in my crye, top is swatt6-4 in his 204. try to note the blending between the browns( on his arm) and greens (on his cuff) into his base color base, on my cp its digital fade, on the 204 ots a "blend" (more speckled)



arm is cp, other guy is 204 bdus with the general ciras mc off ebay (pretty much cat's quality)
