I heard another company (don't know its English name) in Taiwan also released a MP7A1 which is based on the WE SMG-8 but with different (more realstic) external?

Its official name is.
New Wave Small Rice 7 believe it or not. From what ive heard its a disposable company set up by WE so if its busted by Umarex it wont affect WE themselves. Its simply a WE SMG8 in an MP7 body, pretty cunning on WEs part, not long released the SMG8 that most people don't like because of its looks, now they release this so those not happy with SMG 8 looks will sell up and buy a new WE MP7, upside is mags are compatible...lol Sent from my Lumia 920 using Tapatalk. |

Been awhile now. So what's the consensus on the function and longevity of the vfcmp7?

I have one and so far zero problems with feeding. The gas efficiency is pretty good for now. Keep an eye on the VFC website because they posted about two screws on the bolt carrier coming out due to the heavy recoil.

I am still tuning it to make it more smooth on the cycle, have you tune it up to increase the ROF? the kick is awesome!!! I just have to sell my KWA one lol

I don't think I'll be increasing the ROF since it's a VFC GBB. Although I'm still waiting for a retailer in Canada to sell after market parts for it. Appearantly, someone on youtube (I don't know if its true) he polished the bolt carrier for smoother cycle.

I'm actually a fan of the looks of the SMG8. I really like that it uses picatinny under instead of a folding foregrip. And the cost for one has my full attention. |

VFC MP7 is 1:1 and full trades as per usual given that it is VFC. I know the WE SMG-8 has a nice price point, but I don't see much after market spare parts for sale. I did come across a few posts on the WE FB about broken parts, and no one selling them. So, if something does break you'll have to try to contact WE, which based on my experience have horrible Customer Service~

VFC MP7 - Wow, Such A1, Much 1:1.
Honestly, my limited experience with We in general (HiCapa, Toucan, Scar-L) has been very positive. I'm willing to try them out for their SMG8.
I understand they're not top of the line, but they seem to be a fine compromise of quality vs affordability. |
