What exactly is it doing to the motor during testing?
Likely ramps up to full rpm. But the purpose of these tests is just to check the differences in quality between motors, not to give you accurate performance results. In order to do that, you'd have to be testing the motor under the same conditions it would be in your AEG.

Anyway, if the G&P M170 won't run on the dyno it's sure as hell gonna do a shit job of running in your AEG lol

I've installed two of these in VFC's so far ( a 416 and M4 SOPMOD). The fit is damn near perfect. You will probably want to switch out the connector right away, as the supplied Tamiya's get hot...fast.

No idea... you're asking the wrong guy about that. LOL.

But near the end of the thread, he does discuss having the set up hooked up to a gearbox, but the thread has no conclusion with his results. He may have posted a new thread elsewhere... I haven't followed up on it.

If they're gonna be cheap about it they could've used knockoff Deans, which can be had for less than a buck. Not as nice as the real stuff but the performance difference is imperceptible for airsoft purposes and fake Deans are still lightyears better than Tamiyas.
