I just emailed the guy at ebaybanned, Paul, and he told me that shoulder pads as well as neck protectors were not available with that model.

I went and checked gunvest.com and apparently they have a "shoulder pad" version of that crye chassis. And they cost US$330 as well. Plus shipping I don't know.

I noticed that price difference aswell. I contacted them earlier to see if shipping was inclueded and if not to find out what exactly it would be. Hope to hear back by tomarrow as I will be getting the pre-order.

I just realized I am going to look like a damn Multicam'ed Storm Trooper by the time I get my Multicam load out complete, with my Hydrographic film coated Eye tactical mask and everthing else, LOL. Oh well I like it.

pfff now this is fugly, how to avoid law suits. Front plate is wayyyy to large, shoulder pads looks like crap (they look like my car's gas pedal) inner padding isnt even black damn cheap replica IMO. Altought my too I would be willing to pay a bit more for a really good 1000d multicam crye precision cordura chassis that is for sure.

+1 that replica is half assed and no good. no removable pads, gator pads, proportioning are all out to lunch. a gunvest clone (or improvent) would be great.

well, the real one comes with these too, they attach only by 3 piece of velcro. Altought on the vest, there pretty tight but on this one, they seems pretty loose

I wonder if the mods or admins can delete the two pages of players arguing with a 14yr old cadet on gear and camo (GASP! there's digital camo!?) from the thread? thanks in advance.

That clone Huang posted in this thread is just fuggly. I think I can say many of us are just waiting to see what Huang's people come up with for a vest.. I know summer is fast approaching and I wanna have my Crye armour ready for June.

No Prob Morb, I just wish the admins/mods would fine ways to muzzle minors like that kid and the others floating around like they have a clue.

back on topic.

sofar from everything I can find out the Gunvest clone is a real close variation of the crye chassis.. Huang, are your guys developing your version off of a real crye or a clone?

Pretty sure that he mentioned that they have been trying to get a real one for a while with no luck .. so they are looking for the "best clone... to clone"

Sounds like someone is marrying their sister... gonna get ugly kids

LOL, thats funny.
Back to subject. I have a friend in the Military(AF) that is going to be purchasing me a CRYE Armor Chassis, King (neckguard), and the other pads. This way I can replicate them for the MilSim community. Not sure how long it will take as I know CRYE is always putting everthing on backorder. I dont know if that applies to military purchase's or not. I will still be getting at least one of the replica's from eBaybanned in MC aswell though.

I dont believe the deltoid protectors come with the actual armor chasis itself, they are an add on you purchase seperately. On the real one that is.

That clone Huang posted maybe ugly to some, but to those with a tighter budget who would like to follow the look, it maybe appealing.

Me? I wouldnt mind paying a more for a better clone, if I could find an actual armor chasis for a decent price Id go with that, but thats wishful thinking at best.
