In a day about a bag and a half, I run mostly high speed gearboxs with 11.1 lipo.
If it has been built I can break it.

what is to you?? I don't remember someone asking what you thought, just what you carry. If you play at the front you tend to shoot more. If you hide behind bushes waiting for others to make any moves you tend to shoot less. I carry 7 120 rnd mags with 2 470 rnd loaders.

It's because people tend to spray so much and think they have unlimited ammo like video games.
In reality, a field combat soldier has so many other gears to carry that he'll try to minimize the weight as much as possible. Try to walk/run in 30kg ~ 40kg gears for a couple of hours of patrol while posing in various positions for the sake of saving your life from crossfire, and see if one can last that long carrying that much ammo. People should learn how to save ammo and shoot when necessary. Sometimes, a mission can be completed without firing a single shot.

I carry 7 x 68 rounds King Arms mags loaded to 38 to account for feeding.
4 x 10 round HiCapa Mags 1x 200 round Tornado. In regards to hicaps, I don't mind other people using them so long as it's not a milsim. I figure if your experience isn't ruined by sounding like you're smuggling Smarties, why should mine: It makes you a louder target. |

I carry 5 CA 30rd metal realcaps, one of the most realistic loadouts for patrol (i.e. 4 ~ 5 mags).
If it's a mission, then I'll carry up to 10 CA 30rd metal realcaps. I just have one M9 pistol mag though, so I guess that this is the part where I'm not realistic enough. I've been trying to limit my ammo to simulate a real combat situation. If you're very much into milsim, then you can try doing the same. I'm sure that it's rewarding, especially when you know that you're going to run out of ammo, you'll have to be even more stealthy and retreat when it's necessary, or ask your teammates for fire support, and so on.

LOL...tonnes of replies, comments, and ammo.
The set you are looking at is good (5 and 5), I'd just work out the high cap mags for low caps when you budget allows. 10 (68 rnd) mags for primary should go a long way unless you're a support gunner....or do a lot of hosing. Personally, for mil sim I use; -Assault kit; 10 68 rnd mags for primary -Recon kit; 5 68 rnd mags for primary -Sniper kit; 3 25 rnd mags for primary For scrims I load up everything I have and save trips off the field and waste time with reloading... (14 68 rnd mags), a small bag of BBs, and a speed loader. I never go through all my loaded mags, but I tend to hand a couple out during fire fights to my squad when they run out. SHA DO

Mainly for skirmishes, I just avoid having to run back to reload between games while missing a game or two.
