Not sure I am sold on the MDD. Difficult to make fine adjustments. Very light gun, and very solid.

Of the few people I've talked to that have tried the orga/MDD combo have said the orga flat adjuster works better with the standard hop chamber
As I recall I think the MDD needed minor modification to use the orga flat adjuster Anyway I've been using the orga/orga combo on my SR15 with great results |

What exactly does the Orga looks like? Tried a Google, couldn't find any pics on it.

Orga only makes 6.10 bores for PTWs
And google the "orga ptw adjuster" to see their hop cage |

How much sand CAN you fit in your vagina!?

I like the look of that Vortex Viper. It needs a dark earth scope mount, that would really complete the look.

TW5 Sector Gear after 300 calibration rounds! YAY what an investment.
It has been sent back to Milsig in BC and has been there for months trying to find a tech capable of working on the gearbox. http://s1275.photobucket.com/user/rory_ingham/library/

It is a common and known TW5 problem apparently, and par for the course when mixing impact loading with what is essentially a standard AEG gearbox.

I agree with Mcguyver on that.
I have a TW5 on my workbench with signs of the same type of damage, no lost teeth on the sector gear yet. And yes, problem is because of the hybrid design of the TW5. It's basically a WE Katana with much fancier electronics and some stainless steel construction. |

its been at milsig for months? anyone that knows how to work on an aeg can replace the broken bits, and anyone that can google and find out how to solve that problem.

Thanks guys for the input! im impressed with the knowledge shared in just 3 posts. Yeah ive been getting the run around at Milsig and apparently all of the techs that work there don't want anything to do with opening the gearbox. They told me that there are only 5/6 of these TW5s in Canada. They have contacted someone outside the company that has finally agreed to take on the project. Im not terribly impressed with their customer service and lack of professionalism.
They did tell me that the chamber packing seal could have been the issue. Do you guys think it might be an issue running an 11.1 lipo verses the systema recommended 9.6V 2400mAh as well?

There should be no issue running an 11.1v battery at all but I'd stick with M130 (gold cylinder) springs or higher as a rule of thumb. You may get away with it on an M110 (blue cylinder), however I have seen a 12v battery shred M110 and M90 cylinders.
