Just a heads up, I'll be putting one of my Norotos 3-holes for sale soon, so if anyone is interested, PM me before I put it out on public ads.

Dunno, I'm usually all for real deal (except maybe for 800$ NVG mounts) but V-Lites are throw-away items... yes they last 120 hours, but after that you're still throwing away that 60$. I guess it will depend on the replica's runtime.

You've got a point. Haven't handled one yet (for the reason in my post above) so I don't know how easy it'd be to do, but I may have to give it a shot now.

Question : I Just got a AOR1 Combat Suit and PC. Do I spend the extra 100$ and get AOR1 pouches from Shootercbgear OR use the OD pouches on my CIRAS?

You already answer your question. Buy the AOR1 to go along you PC.

3M Peltor Comtacs are the US military standard, has greater support and accessories, but are quite pricey.
MSA Sordins are much more popular amongst smaller LEO branches and elsewhere around the world, due to their much lower cost. They both "cut" high decibel noises differently. Comtacs "clip" the noise into absolute silence when it breaks the 82dBa level, whereas Sordins "compress" the noise down to 82dBa. For this reason, many shooters prefer Sordins, because it allows them to continue communicating with people around them, even with active gunfire occurring around them. With frequent gunfire occurring around you, the Peltor sound will cut in and out, which some shooters don't like. Up to your personal preference. They're both solid products. |
