Careful ordering directly from OpsCore.
A couple friends had their Base Jumps seized and stopped at the border (I know - totally ridiculous). I personally got my Base Jump in MARPAT camo from Ebay.

Seized?!? Wow. Did they get released eventually?
CBSA is so random. We had an order of 6-7 come in without any problems. I wish we could just have consistency.

From my understanding, the border kept it.
The customer then complained to OpsCore and was given a "store credit" for the value of his order. I totally agree with you in regard to consistency @ the border - it is a complete pain the ass.

Wouldn't they be able to dispute the seizure of their helmet? It's not like the Base Jumps are made or contains restricted materials.

Was it seized on the US side (US export control)? Or on Canadian side (importations)? I'm just curious as to what grounds the seizure was made under.

Last I check the base jump was a sports helmet, used for things like base jumping.... and is duel marketed as a military and sports helmet.

Mine went through because I bought the sport one accidently.
It can be stopped because it does have the NOD shroud to it. Although, you can argue with them that it's built onto the helmet and you wanted to use for example a go-pro camera that attaches right on. I do know, that the VAS shroud, you cannot export out of US. |

From the source:
I recieved a phone call saying: "Its a military helmet and you don't have the right documentations to import it through".

That doesn't make really make sense. If we need documentation to export the helmet, shouldn't it be ITAR controlled?
