On Classic Army and Tokyo Marui AEG MP5s (which use compression springs behind the charging handle) I cut up a strip of white eraser, wrap it in black tape, and stick it in the cocking tube in front of the charging handle. This stops the charging handle from slamming in to the cocking tube and taking all the impact. The eraser absorbs the impact and the black tape makes it inconspicuous.

The original TM ones with the 3 lug adapter fit fine.

the cocking handle itself should be secure and tight with the tube as if it were once piece.

thanks for letting me know it's normal
I have installed the azimuth bolt guides which has helped a lot with another problem I was having - misfeeding. However, I'm still experiencing the occasional BB cracking and jamming. I think it might be the feed ramp as discussed in this thread, because the mags do seem to move a lot. I will order one and try it out. |

I just picked up a used VFC MP5A2. I have to say, the build quality is much better than that of my WE. The recoil is much lighter but I can live with that since neither feels like a real 9mm.
Are the VFC A3 stocks fairly solid/not wobbly? Also, are they releasing more of the Navy models? I'd love one of those |

as for the A3 stock, I have found that it is fairly sturdy.

project one of two:
to add: HK94 barrel shroud. would require cutting some of the OEM barrel or replacing it entirely and replace it with a tube to act as an extended barrel before adding the shroud. project two of two: need a spare MP5 if anyone has the liberty to sell one edit: in addition to the VFC 2018 catalogue, the website has been listing the new gen MP5 for a while now. the 3rd burst is being released relatively soon so this is good news (source from today).

Original project you have there NAAZ. Would not buy it but I can appreciate the effort and originality.
Speaking of the V2 MP5, is there any chance it's going to be compatible with the V1 mags ? Or is it going to be redesigned. I've got a pending order for some V1 mags and I don't know if I should refrain from buying them... |
