The kit didn't come with a grip at all. I needed to purchase a G&P tango down grip separately.

Yup, to avoid any confusion or accidentally bringing the wrong stuff, all the airsoft been transfered to Pelican gun case and the real steel into Starlight case. The only pain in the ass part was getting new foam for the Pelican they are hard to find and damn expensive.

Custom Case Co. - http://www.customcaseco.com/ 'Fly PS: What did you use to cut your foam with? Looks like it was done with a hot-wire??

Last time I purchased from them I asked for a "stiffer" variety of foam as the Pelican OEM foam in my tan 1720 was likely the same softer stuff you were working with and it had a tendency to collapse into the cutout areas once the guns were removed rather than holding shape. I found it was ok to cut that softer foam with a cold blade but not with a hot wire which made the job even tougher/longer. The 3rd party foam (stiffer stuff) that I have in my black 1720 is much nicer IMHO. I actually need another foam set so the next time I am in Ottawa I plan to drop by their shop. Or maybe I will save me some headaches and just bring the entire setup with me and have them do it professionally providing they can turn it around fast enough. Fly PS: Go for the convoluted foam for the lid as it tends to hold stuff in place better than flat foam. At least, that's my experience anyway.

New light mk18 mod 1 optic for those intense CQB moments.
I now know why the EXPS got the Socom contract. |

Nah, just wanted to try something a little different for indoors. I found that I was going to the Docter sight a lot on the Elcan for CQB. It is fast, but that 65 MOA doughnut of death will be even faster for those 5-10 feet engagements. Going to have to get some EXPS protectors made now before it sees 2-way range.
