4 hours on a standard wall transformer? Usually charging with those takes 10-16 hours.
Take the milliamp rating of the battery, divide it by the output of the charger, and add 20%. THAT is how long you should charge it for. Actually, do yourself a favour and get a good charger. Wall chargers are crap.

Plus, my battery is: 8.4V 1200mAh So.. 1200/300 = 4 hours 4 hours * 1.2 = 4 hours and 45 minutes Should I still charge it for 10-12 h? EDIT: I don't think it's the battery's fault.. Can anyone suggest another gun from Cabela's? Last edited by jeeholim; April 17th, 2011 at 17:06.. |

Do you have another battery to try it out? Kraken stock batteries are complete shite

No.. But I don't think it's the battery's fault, because I fully charged it, then it just stops working right in the middle. I tried charging it again, but that didn't do anything.

Could still be the battery. Either the battery is not getting a charge or it's not holding a charge.
If you can partially charge the battery then the problem is likely the battery. A wall transformer is "dumb" and doesn't do any peak detection or cutoff. If you know someone who has a charger with a cycle function you could try that.

Check the fuse. If it's fine, try firing on auto, semi, and anywhere inbetween. I heard it gets stuck sometimes. The leamon rate for krakens is like 1:3 or something according to another topic.

I'm considering exchanging the Kraken for an Aftermath Knight CQB, which is a stubby M4. I heard it has a nice fire rate and all that, but someone on youtube said that it's not good for long range, which I think he is saying just because it has the antonym "CQB." Does anyone know if it's any good? It's $50 cheaper than the Kraken Last edited by jeeholim; April 18th, 2011 at 20:58.. |

From everything I've read the only Aftermath worth anything is the Kraken. I had one myself it was a great little AEG.
It'd be worth investing in a new battery (the stock one is not worth a damn). I used a 1600 mah 8.4v mini in mine and it worked great. I'd say with 90% certainty a new battery will fix your issues. The battery is heating because it doesn't have the juice to pull the spring. |

Is that all I need to get? Like no wiring and stuff? How much would the grand total be?
