I was saying this mainly because of this pic:

The bottom of the PC should be about at the same place as your bellybutton, so it doesn't move up when you flex forward/backwards.

Depends on the era

Now it's the 553 but earlier on it was the 552

‪US Navy SEALS Qualification Training (SQT)‬‏ - YouTube

So I was watching this and was thinking of a kit-list for the guys in the 30 seconds of the video.

-Woodland BDU's (Doesn't seem to be RAID), woodland boonie, black Mechanix (I was going to use Oakley's by personal preference), MSA Sordin's, and some Salomon hikers.
-Khaki RRV, 3 double mag pouches, 2 frag pouches, IFAK, MBITR pouch with TS MBITR, canteen pouch, and MLCS admin pouch.

The M4 is going to be a standard 14.5 inch, with a 553 (Unless I can find a cheap Specter DR), M3X, PEQ15 and KAC VFG.

I'm not sure if that's close so it would be nice to have some help. :3

That setup appears to have been somewhat standard for years now in the Stateside training.

ST3 in Alaska around '06 had the same but it was MLCS back then

SFLCS for all SOF it appears... At least the ones under SOCOM

Even the Rangers are transitionning to MJK (as the RG was already SFLCS, shared the same NSN minus the last digits)

Work is starting for my SEAL setup, so I'm looking for input from ASC's SEALwhores on this WIP.

MICH2001
Norotos 3-hole + TATM (to be eventually replaced by Wilcox L02G05)
MS2000
IR squares
US flag
Surefire HL1 FDE
Sordins
ContourHD
Oakleys (to be replaced with Oakley Half Jackets)

Missing: Ops-Core H-Nape CB

(Note: the CR123s, while not totally wrong, probably won't stay there)
