If anyone got some V-Lites he doesn't need (visible light, whatever color) and a ContourHD OPS-core mount, let me know!

I'm not the most experienced when it comes to sewing, most of mine is done by hand, and in my opinion pretty bad, but that's just messy.

V-lites are neat little toys but that's all they really are. They break really easily, I've destroyed a few of the IR ones without even treating them poorly.

Ferro, that's pretty nice. I was going to wrap my Contour in McNett Camo Form and just trim out a section for the mount and on/off switch, however if that doesnt work out well, I might just order one of those badboys from you.

Ferro: does the camera pouch make the camera wobble when moving?
I like the idea, but I think my double redundancy lanyard systeme got the "breaking" part covered.

The original flat surface mount modified with velcro is very solid, but come appart just before snapping the mount. I like it.

Here are some shots of my work helmet;

CG634 Ballistic Helmet (Medium)
Issue cover (modded) (bought surplus, I have my original stashed if I have to do an exchange)
Surefire Helmet Light
ESS Profile NVG Goggles (Issue goggles, private purchase straps modded with velcro)

Everything here has some function, I drive an armoured vehicle so the helmet light comes in handy to check gauges and see controls in a dark cabin. The goggles are much better on the highway when driving compared to the issue ballistic glasses. A few IR tabs and a custom "EW" cateye on the back, and that's all she wrote.
