So you found two videos of similar playstyle? I can play hockey with my feet but it doesn't make it soccer.

PREPARE THE BLENDER!

Okay, I know that they are not both exactly the same, but they are very very close. Do you get my point? Or is it that you don't want to.

Also, about your hockey and soccer thing. Do they have both have the same playing field?

I see your point, It's sorta like sending a solar panel into the sun... It'll work kinda... but in the end you know it's going to explode and everything go up in flames.

I don't get it. I cannot see how that relates to this. Explain please.

It all depends on the player(s). I've seen guys run off and do their own thing where I and a few others, play as a very tactics based group.

Everyone does things differently.

Yes if you somehow got this all together it would theoretically work... but eventually as mentioned earlier everyone would get pissed at everyone else and either leave or end in hand to hand combat(that's the explosion part)

That was what I meant, obviously if the players didn't react or behave like that, it would work.

It doesn't matter, the original question was if there has ever been any games like that and clearly there hasn't, and I don't expect there to be any.

I liked how the first thirty seconds of the airsoft vid said "this is mid field" "not usual start..." or something like that. And then a bunch of camo clad start to war. Then in the woods ball we see how many paintballers truly believe purple masks, blue flame and neon green shirts help in a game setting.

And thus it fails every time.

I played milsim paintball before switching over to airsoft and I milsim paintball has evolved alot more than people think depending on where you play.

All our games had the honor system for hits just like airsoft because 90% of side arms were all airsoft pistols. We had medic rules, with scénarios based on gameplay and strategy, not seek and destory everything in sight.

We never did a game of airsoft vs paintball and honestly I wouldn't play in one. All the airsoft player would need fullface masks, your gear would get covered in paint that you need to clean up at the end of the day. The primary reason I switch over to airsoft was because I was tired of of spending 2 hours cleaning all the paint off my gear after a game.

I don't know, there has occasionally been an almost impromptu paintball vs. airsoft game when some paintballing wanker decides to take a potshot at the airsoft group passing by.
